Let me tell you a little about me, then I’ll tell you a little bit about my site.
I like tabasco and taking funny pictures
My name is Tom Guard. I was laid off from my job back in April of 2009. I’m still unemployed. The economy is pretty bad here in Cleveland. Since I have been laid off, I have had plenty of time for my hobby…making websites.
I’m the type of person that likes to make people happy. I love to win stuff. I have won a lot of cool things using Twitter. I thought I would start a site that would have contests. I love contests and I love giving away things. Some of these prizes are going to come right out of my unemployment check (or until my site starts to make a few dollars.) In the future I hope that most of the prizes come from businesses that want to promote their products and services by using my site to have their contests at Tweet and Win.
Whatever the case may be, I just want everyone to have fun, be happy and win some stuff. Sure money makes you happy but what makes me happy is giving away stuff and surprising people. (I should have been the guy that knocks on the door with the over-sized publisher’s clearing house check.)
Tweet and Win is a site where you can find out about contests on Twitter or we can even host your contest for you.
Here’s how it works if you would like us to host your Twitter contests.
You come up with a prize or prizes to give away.
You tell us what page on your site you want Tweeted in the contest. (It can be a link to your homepage, a landing page, or even the page of the product you are giving away.)
Each person that enters the contest gets their own special link that will link to your contest page. This way we can easily keep track of points per tweet.
Each person that Tweets about site gets a point. Each point counts as a ticket into the contest. The more tickets, the more a person has a chance of winning.
When your contest is over, our software will randomly and fairly choose a winner based on entries. (Kinda like pulling a name out of a hat. )
When the contest is over and the winner is chosen, you contact the winner via Twitter direct message and you send them their prizes.
Our website will keep track of the entries, leaders and updates.
Our Twitter Page will also tweet out the current contest standings.
It’s fair, easy and the cheapest way to have a contest for your business, site or blog.
Some things you should keep in mind if you choose us to host your contest.
We’ll do some promoting on our end for your contest, but you may want to make an announcemet about your contest via social media sites, your email newsletters, word of mouth to customers, or even putting a link on your site to the contest.
The length of a contest can be no greater than two weeks. (After two weeks a contest will start to lose steam unless you are promoting it several ways.)

I’m flattered! Like your offer of hosting contest. Good luck!
Grade A stuff. I’m unuqestniaobly in your debt.
